How to Choose the Right Duffel
Check Capacity Needs
Match the internal volume to your trip length. The Eagle Creek Migrate 130L and No Matter What 130L both offer 130 liters of space. This volume suits extended journeys where you carry bulky gear. If you only need medium loads, the Cargo Hauler XT is a smaller alternative. Review the listed capacity to ensure it fits your specific packing requirements without excess bulk.
Evaluate Weight Limits
Consider the empty weight for easier handling. The No Matter What 130L is the lightest at 3.87 pounds. The Migrate 130L weighs 5.37 pounds. The Cargo Hauler XT is the heaviest at 9.26 pounds. Heavier bags may feel cumbersome when fully packed. Choose a lighter model if you prioritize minimal empty weight. Select a heavier option if you need reinforced construction for durability.
Assess Weather Resistance

Other models do not highlight this specific attribute in their published specs. If you frequently encounter wet conditions, prioritize the model with confirmed weather resistance for better protection of your belongings.
Review Carrying Options
Verify how the bag moves and lifts. The Migrate 130L and No Matter What 130L are rolling duffels. The Cargo Hauler XT includes backpack straps. Rolling models reduce strain on your shoulder. Backpack straps offer hands-free mobility. Check the listed type and features to ensure the carrying method matches your travel style and physical comfort preferences.
Measure External Dimensions
Check length and width for storage fit. The No Matter What 130L is 36 inches long. The Migrate 130L is 25.5 inches long. The Cargo Hauler XT is 31.5 inches long.
